Vita Coco is sponsoring one ride per person at Summer Streets on Saturday, August 1, 8 and 15 from 7am – 1pm. Participants must register online for a timeslot and arrive 30 minutes prior. There is no on-site registration.

Thank you for trying to be a part of Slide the City in NYC, but the response to this event has been huge and we can only accommodate so many sliders in our limited time frame. WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE BIG DAY
Summer Streets is an annual celebration of New York City’s most valuable public space—the streets. On three consecutive Saturdays in August, nearly seven miles of NYC’s streets are opened for people to play, run, walk and bike. Over the past 8 years, the New York City Department of Transportation, in partnership with the City of New York, has presented Summer Streets along Park Avenue from Central Park to the Brooklyn Bridge.
The event is part bike tour, part walking tour, part block party—a great time for exercise, people watching, or just enjoying summer mornings. Held between 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, Summer Streets extends from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park, along Park Avenue and connecting streets, with easy access from all points in New York City, allowing participants to plan a trip as long or short as they wish. All activities at Summer Streets are free of charge, and designed for people of all ages and ability levels to share the streets respectfully.
After registering, you will receive a ticket for ONE FREE ride at Summer Streets for your specific slide time. Participants can register for up to THREE people total. Make sure to print that ticket and bring it with you or you won’t be able to ride and all sliders must use one of the inflatable tubes provided by Vita Coco.
